Documents required for marriage registration

Proof of age, proof of residence, proof of identity of witnesses and proof of marriage must be submitted at the time of marriage registration at the Registrar's office. 

Birth certificate, school and college certificates, passport can be submitted as proof of age. 

Passport, voter ID card, driving license, family card can be submitted as proof of residence. 

One of the above documents for proof of residence (passport, voter ID card, driving license, family card) can be submitted as proof of identity for witnesses. 

Marriage Hall Receipt, Temple Receipt, Mosque or Church Certificate and Marriage invitation card are accepted as documents of marriage.
