When registering a marriage at the Registrar's Office, are the photographs taken at the wedding ceremony to be submitted as a document?
Photographs taken at the wedding ceremony are not listed by the registration department in the list of documents to be submitted while registering marriages and obtaining certificates. Some sub-registrars insist on submitting photographs taken at the wedding event. But as per the rules laid down by the Registration Department, it is not a proper practice to request such.
