As per the order of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the land survey fee has been increased

In Tamil Nadu, the land survey fee has been raised about 40 times.

Fee for demarcation of Nansei land,
Increased from Rs.50 to Rs.2000.

The fee for subdividing land has been raised 10 times.

The Government of Tamil Nadu, on behalf of the Land Survey Department, is carrying out land surveying and subdivision, determining the boundaries of the field on the application of the landowners, re-surveying on appeal, providing a visual copy and a copy of the District Circular Map.

It is the duty of the department to measure and subdivide the land within 90 days of filing the petition.

It should be pointed out here that it has been a long standing demand of real estate entrepreneurs that the land surveying department, which operates under the revenue department, should be merged with the securities department.
