Legal Marriage Age in India



According to Indian law the Marriage age for men is 21 and the Marriage age for women is 18 and both men & women should have completed the above mentioned ages.

Marriage law as been in force in our country since 1978.

Please note before 1978 the marriage age for men is 18 and marriage age for women is 14.
